Beanie Babies

Since when have beanies become such a huge style statement? I remember the days where they were something only my dad would wear out in the garden and I wouldn't be caught dead in one!

Somehow I have come to realise the genius of the beanie. Any fashion item which also keeps me warm is an instant win in my books.. So often, I find that to be "stylish" you must forego tights/a coat/flats/anything sensible.. I'm thankful that fashion is progressing to include cosy pieces that look chic but keep me cosy. (Not that I didn't wear all these items before, but now I feel they are more accepted!)

I am totally obsessed with making lists.. I fill up notebooks like nobody's business with shopping lists, organisational lists, birthday and Christmas present lists, and WISHLISTS!! I also keep a running wishlist on Amazon, but sometimes I like the pen-and-paper method of writing out a wishlist.

Winter Hand Care

When Winter rolls around, typically my hands bear the brunt of the cold weather. I usually wear a pair of snuggly gloves, but this year I just haven't gotten around to getting any!

To apologise to my hands for exposing them to the elements, I've been giving them a good pamper. I've heard that your hands show your age more than your face!   Here's what I love to use to give my hands a proper manicure:

Hi everyone,

So my boyfriend got me some brushes for my birthday. It's the Sedona Lace Midnight Lace Brush set (the 12 piece one). I decided to mess around with the brushes and check them out by creating this Edie-inspired look. I watched Factory Girl last night and really wanted to recreate her look today! I love how it turned out.. Perhaps I'll start penciling in a mole on a daily basis.. It might be a bit much though!

New Brush Organisation!

Having a lazy Saturday, I decided to do some simple DIYing to spruce up my brush holders.

Recently, I've been keeping my brushes in old repurposed tin cans from baked beans and things like that. I've gotten sick of looking at the tatty metal (even though I loved that shabby chic look at first!) so I've glammed them up a bit!

My Morning Skincare Regime

Hi guys, thought I would do a little post on my morning skincare regime (as you can tell from the title). I've been trying to incorporate a lot of natural elements into my skincare regime recently, and ban all the nasty chemicals that I don't want on my skin or in my bloodstream! It's a slow process, but I'm improving all the time.

Pinup Bombshell Makeup

In a fit of organisational madness recently, I forward planned my next 12 or 13 videos that I want to post to Youtube. This has resulted in me springing out of bed and rushing to set up my camera, before I've even had breakfast!

Today's vid was my attempt at a pinup bombshell look. I'm no makeup artist, and the liner is probably far too think for my eyes, but I was pretty pleased with the end result! To be honest, my favourite part was curling my hair.

 Also, I'm foraying into the world of minimalism right now, so I'm getting used to shopping my stash and trying not to covet new things. I have learned that I have absolutely no patience, but good things come to those who wait. My birthday is in November.. til then, I'll have to make do with a STRICT no shopping policy! I can't even risk browsing online or my reserve may crack!
